Our Lady of Pontmain, also known as Our Lady of Hope, is the title given to the Virgin Mary following her apparition at Pontmain, France on January 17, 1871 When they formed their North American Province in 2008, the Felician Sister chose Our Lady of Hope as their patron.
World Day of Prayer for Consecrated Life

Today we celebrate the birthday of our Foundress, Blessed Mary Angela Truszkowska. She was baptized as Sophia Camille, was born in Kalisz, Poland, on May 16, 1825.
Feast of St. Felix of Cantalice
St. Felix of Cantalice was an Italian Capuchin friar in the 16th century whose job was begging for alms. Brother Felix blessed all benefactors and all those he met with a humble “Deo Gratias!” (thanks be to God!), causing many to refer to him as “Brother Deo Gratias." He died on May 18, 1587.

Feast Day of St. Clare
St. Clare of Assisi, deeply influenced by St. Francis, refused the marriage her wealthy parents intended for her and founded the order of Poor Clares, in the "privilege of perfect poverty." Many women joined her, including her mother and sister. She died on August 11, 1253.
Assumption of Mary
The Feast of the Assumption celebrates the day when the Blessed Virgin Mary was taken body and soul into heaven, at the end of her earthly life.
