A warm, vibrant person with a sparkle in her eyes, Sister Mary Anita’s presence was a blessing and a joy to all. She served 81 years as a Felician Sister.

Sr. Mary Kathleen La Plume was a beloved member of Felician Sisters Community for 66 years.

Conscientious and precise with her students, and knowledgeable and confident about her subject matter, Sister Mary Lucy will be remembered for her creativity in teaching elementary and middle school. She also had an interest in hair cutting and styling; she managed a hair salon for the sisters in Loretta Hall in the summer months.

With her many talents, strong mind and spirit, and total availability to the Felician mission of cooperating with Christ in the spiritual renewal of the world, Sister John remained simple with her feet firmly planted on the ground and her heart unreservedly in the hands of God.

Sister Michelle’s ministry to the Church and the Felician Congregation was primarily in education, where she served as a primary teacher for more than 40 years in Felician Schools.

Sr. Vicky embraced the mission set forth by the Foundress of the Franciscan Felician Sisters, Blessed Mary Angela Truszkowska, to whom she had a special connection and devotion.

Sister Joanita Marie Krieter was a beloved member of the Felician Sisters for 46 years.

Sister Mary Florence Pelczynski was 98 years old and a member of the Felician Sisters for 80 years.

Sr. Susan was a Felician Sister for 58 years. She served in Catholic schools for most of her career, caring for children from infancy through high school.
