Live Nativity at Madonna University

December 8, the Feast of the Immaculate Conception, was a cold day when Karen Sanborn, director of University Communication at Madonna University in Livonia, MI, recorded the live Nativity for Madonna’s Facebook page. Click here to view the video.

The beautiful performance was put together by the Madonna Campus Ministry Office and featured the following staff and student performers: Mercedes Williams as Angel Gabriel, Avery Warren as Mary, Joshua Johnson as Joseph, Evan Owen as the shepherd, Wayne Breckenridge as the ox, Colleen McLellan as the sheep, and Jesse Cox as the donkey.

Founded in Poland in 1855, the Felician Sisters are a congregation of women religious inspired by the spiritual ideals of their foundress, Blessed Mary Angela Truszkowska, and Saints Francis of Assisi, Clare of Assisi and Felix of Cantalice.
