Buffalo Joy Day Celebration Honors Jubilarians

On Saturday, June 1, the Felician Sisters in the Western New York area celebrated Joy Day, a day traditionally set aside to celebrate the jubilarians in the area. This year’s celebration began with Mass in the Immaculate Heart of Mary Convent Chapel, which was celebrated by Rev. Msgr. David Lee; Father Jerome Stelmach concelebrated and Felician Associate Edward Hermanson assisted as an acolyte.

Msgr. Lee recognized the significance of jubilees in the lives of the Sisters, saying, “The Sisters being honored today have given us an example and a legacy. They have weathered many storms in their lives and have been blessed with generosity of spirit. As we honor them, we thank them for their commitment to God and his people."
